Paul not only Won the Saloon Race, but TQ’d and broke the lap record! Paul ran a JK Saloon Car chassis and Proslot G12 Motor with JK B tyres on Polymer hubs. Once more proving that it is possible to win a National Saloon car race with a chassis kit costing under £30.00!

8th August 05 - Once more Tim Tyler dominates Australian G12, running the AB Slotsport Viper TP Chassis. Tim Won the Victorian Cup in Melbourne this weekend running this great chassis which has dominated Aussie racing since his first win, along with JK B polymer hub Tyres. Congratulations Tim!

Southern 32 - Ipswich - Congratulations Chris Souter! Chris won Falcon 1/32 sports with an AB Slotsport built TWP Eurotoy chassis, running a Falcon 3 and JK Tyres. Congratulations also go to Micheal Ovens, coming in second to Chris with an AB built Demon Falcon car. Both showing you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg for a car which provides results!

Southern 32 series 10 July - Netley - Congratulations Michael and John Ovens! Father and Son team win 1st & 2nd in Individual Falcon Sports! Micheal came 1st running an AB built Demon chassis with JK B rubber and Dad john came in a close 2nd running an AB prepared Parma International, again running JK B tyres and also a JK body.

AB VIPER TP Dominates one of the toughest races in Australia! - the 2005 Geoghan Trophy
This is the premier interstate scale racing trophy in Australia. It has been raced for since the 1960's - making it the longest running interstate trophy in Australia. It is second only to the Nationals in prestige.
This year the trophy was awarded for the Group 12 GTP race, and the race was held at King Willys raceway in Melbourne, recent venue for the 2005 Australian Nats.

Tim Tyler TQ'd and won the race by 6 laps. The car was the Viper TP built exactly as per the kit. It was a very fast race because the second place getter Neil McDonald also used a Viper TP, and he's fast! With only one bracket to go there was less than half a lap in it, but Tim’s car was just so strong he managed to run away in the last bracket.

Mike Batten (ABSLOTSPORT teenage Whizz-kid) was chasing Neil all the way, but a crash on blue lane saw him drop 30 laps. If not for that crash, it would have been 3 Vipers on the podium!

Luton - Southern 32 26.06.05 Congratulations to John Ovens!, winner of Falcon with an AB built Parma chassis, JK Lola and JK B tyres, also “Franz” in 2nd place running a AAA Zytek.. Congratulations also Go to James Cleave, winner of Super Production, running an RJR Motor & AAA Zytek body, Stan Alton 2nd, running a AAA Zytek body and Paul Harwood, 3rd running a AAA Zytek, RJR motor & JK B tyres.

Congratulations to Vince Lee and Ian Barker who won the Southern 32 Le Mans team race at Roedale 05.06.05 using their tried and trusted AB Slotsport R132 chassis and beating BSP’s New Saloon chassis into the bargin. Yet another win for the is team and chassis.

Congratulations also go to Greg Harwood, winning the Super production race running the AAA Zyteck body and JK Tyres.

Nationals Success for young drivers!
Congratulations go to Michael Ovens for a truly Stella drive, Winning Novice Saloon. Michael ran a Vince Lee built AB R132 chassis, set up help from Paul Harwood and running JK B tyres.
Congratulations go to Graeme Stephenson for his superb 2nd in premier grade Formula One. A sterling drive and a great car in the shape of the AB Merlin Chassis (built by Ralph Parker) and naturally, JK B tyres and Voki gears.
Congratulations Adam Radford for a great 2nd place result in Division One Sports. A superb drive and a car prepared by AB and Stephenson, along with JK B tyres gave Adam his position and the incentive to compete for the top position at next years Nats.
Congratulations must also go the 14 year old Sandy Parker, the only girl at the Nats and finishing a very credible 7th in Division 2 Saloon running a Parker built AB R132.

These young drivers and the other youngsters at the Nats are the future of our sport and should be rewarded for their focus and dedication.

Congratulations Matti Fyhr! Matti won the Finnish 1/24 Nats running a KRP chassis, RL/ P/S motor, S7 gears, JK B tires & JK closed Audi Body. Once more proving that JK B are the tyres to run and the JK Closed Audi really does work!

Tim Tyler Smashes the Australian Record with the NEW AB VIPER TP chassis!

In it’s first serious race Tim Broke the Qualifying record (3.260 a new Australian record), the Bracket record (35 laps) and also the overall race record 268 laps (3 laps faster than the old record, also held by Tim).

North London Team Race 07.04.05 - Congratulations Paul Harwood and James Cleave for the WIN! James prepared the car featuring;- Mossetti Titan SS chassis, AB preconditioned Proslot G12 motor, Sunset Autocoast body and JK B polymer hub tyres. Well done guys!

Melbourne, Australia - Tim Tyler equals the track record with our all New Viper TP Chassis. Tim built the chassis the day before and says it is the best G12 chassis he ever raced! Now he has trime to set it up and install a quick motor to smash those lap records again!

Congratulations James Cleave - for the Win in Super Production, running a preconditioned RJR Hornet and Triple A Zytek body, also, Paul Harwood for Second place, running one of the now infamous preconditioned AB RJR Hornet motors.

Congratulations James Cleave and Stan Kirk - for the Win in the G12 Team Race, running a JK Saloon chassis and also to Paul Harwood & John Hyde for the Second place running an AB Prepared Radcovic Saloon chassis and AB built Proslot G12 motor with JK B Polymer hub tyres.

FINLAND - 20th April - Congratulations go to Matti Fyhr who won the PR24 class. Matti ran an RJR G12 armature in this class with the regulation Mura set-up.

B.S.C.R.A. Area round Nat’s Qualifiers 13.03.05 :-
Congratulations go to - Paul Harwood and James Cleave with a 1 - 2 in Formula One at the area 6 Luton race, both using the AB Merlin Chassis and Adam LeMaistre, also at Luton, Winning Saloon with the AB R132 Chassis.
In the Area 3 round at Newcatsle, Congratulations go to Greame Stephenson for a very credible 2nd place in F1, again using a Merlin Chassis, he built himself.

27.02.05 Congratulations to Vince Lee and Ian Barker who won the Southern 32 Le Mans team race at Swindon with the R132/2 AB Slotsport Saloon Chassis, beating all opposition (including home drivers). Once again proving this chassis sets up and runs superbly on a whole range of different tracks.

13.02.05 Congratulations John Painter! John has won the Area 6 Novice Championship with 2 wins in a row and qualifies as top Area 6 Nats. Novice.

John ran an AB Slotsport built Demon chassis and Falcon 3 motor with JK B tyres and JK Bentley body. Michael Ovens has taken a great second place in the Championship with a similar car. AB cars have won the National Novice Championship 5 out of the last 6 years, so “No pressure” John!

Congratulations to Paul Harwood - Breaking the North London Lap Record in 1/24th Scale Open G12. Paul increased the lap total from 46.92 to a ballistic 47.83 laps using an AB Slotsport Preconditioned RJR Single magnet 0.518” G12 motor he purchased at Wildfields. Once more proving you don’t have to pay a fortune for success or run daft gear ratios! Pauls car was geared 7/37 - demonstrating the great torque and brakes of these great motors.

Congratulations to Vince Lee and Ian Barker who won the Southern 32 Le Mans team race at Oaklands with the R132/2 AB Slotsport Saloon Chassis, beating all opposition (including home drivers) by 8 laps!

Congratulations also to Ralph Parker and Graham Woodward making 3rd place in the race, again with an R132!
